CRUELTY TO ANIMALS PART 2- PRAY FOR THE UTMOST PUNISHMENT TO THESE PEOPLE.

Hi all   .......I am surprised that there was only a lukewarm response to the horrible deeds I wrote about yesterday.And the most horrific pictures I posted. I am sure you people are all animal lovers  over there. 

What a cute puppy.It is so adorable that you feel like petting it. But such puppies are subjected to abuse,starvation etc. by their owners. Though rarely,well not so rarely... these things do happen.I would say that a dog is the most loving, faithful creature on earth. So when I catch my driver or someone else abuse someone by calling him "you dog" I feel angry and annoyed.

If you cannot love your pet,why have a pet at all? This question intrigues me. You see so many videos on the net depicting the saving efforts of injured,trapped or abused animals. At least in countries like America and Britain there are animal welfare societies and the concept of foster parents makes it easier to save and rehabilitate injured or harassed animals.

In India, this sort of thing is practically non existent. So the cruel practice of beating and harming animals for training or entertainment is common. PETA  and several other organisations are working to correct these and put a stop to animal cruelty.But India is such a vast country and people are so obstinate and hard to change when it comes to so called tradition and customs. 

Yesterday I had written about several such animal torture and killing in the name of religion or tradition . Today I want to tell you about violence to domestic and domesticated pets.

See the poor bear captured from the wild,from it's home to unnatural surroundings and forcibly trained to dance and do other things to attract people. Especially see the constraining nose ring which must definitely add to the misery of the animal. I,myself have seen such dancing bears in India as a child. I do not see these now. Maybe some sort of animal protection law must have come into effect. Thank God.

Well that bear was at least alive. In India and maybe throughout the world, there is a cruel sport called "Hunting".Rajahs, Maharajahs and Zamindars were very fond of hunting. This poor bear is the victim of one such hunting expedition and is now lying in the palace or residence of some such ?noble person as a trophy. With it's head intact and preserved and skin also preserved .

Domesticated is an annoying word. The way bullocks are domesticated by training them to pull heavy loads is hard to watch or think about. The poor animals are beaten with whips,their tails twisted and sometimes bitten by men. I have heard of many more cruel things done to them to make them meek and obedient. These oxen are made to carry so much weight forcibly that they sometimes collapse and die.

In certain parts of the world there was and probably still is, the custom of branding cattle with red hot irons, so that they can be identified as a herd. Imagine, burning the skin with a red hot rod.How cruel man can be.

Like bullocks, donkeys are also subjected to torture and made to carry huge weights. If they rebel, they are beaten and their tails twisted.

And among the domestic pets, dogs and puppies suffer much in in certain cruel owners' places. They are starved, beaten and thrown on the grounds. They are forcibly made to wear nose rings and rarely a cruel owner not only starves the dog but also throttles it with an iron collar. They are beaten till blood splatters the grounds and starved.

Some cruel prankster has done this to the poor dog. These boys and girls go on to be murderers of human beings.If they can kill an animal without the least compunction they will kill humans too. 

Some boys and girls have this peculiar habit of teasing,harming and sometimes killing kitten and cats as in the "crush" videos I had written about in my earlier article.

See this poor kitten bound by duct tape throughout the body including the poor thing's urinary and rectal openings. And duct tape is so hard to remove from the fur of the kitten. Such a cruel trait in some children and possibly adults. "Animal Fetishism" it is called ,the cruel instinct of liking to watch  animals suffer. And killed.That is what it was about the "crush" videos I mentioned in the last article. 

Animals have a right to live in their own habitat and deserve love and affection especially if  they are pets. I am sure the above pictures would have upset you animal lovers out there. But this is the hard fact.And the society must do something about it. Let us all rally together to stop animal cruelty.
