THE SUPERIOR AND SUPERNATURAL INCIDENTS IN MY FATHER'S LIFE

Yesterday I told you all , about a story we heard from my grandmother while we were children.Today I will tell you about two actual incidents that happened in my father's life.My father Mr.H.Sahasranaman,used to tell us children about these incidents several times.And we used to listen spell bound .My father was also a great story teller and now my brother S.L.Naanu has inherited that aptitude from my father.He has achieved great success as a drama writer and actor in Chennai

The first incident was about an old man in our native town,Kallidaikurichi ,in Tirunelveli District of Tamilnadu.This old man was a great" siddha purush " meaning one who has obtained many magical powers by meditating for several days and years on god.

SIDDHA PURUSH

This siddha old man used to love children and used to take them on magical trips by his godly powers.He used to ask them to close their eyes and all of a sudden they found themselves in another town or another part of the world! After roaming around and enjoying themselves,the children used to come back with candies only available in that part of the world.

This may seem impossible but the Siddhas do really exist.In the deep reaches of the Himalayas,in Kolli malai (Kolli mountain) near Rasipuram of Salem district in Tamilnadu,India.I will talk about the miraculous cure one such Siddha performed in my next article.Well the siddhas are miraculous people but you do not see them coming out and mingling with people.You are lucky if you have interaction with one.

But this particular old man enjoyed the company of children and performed small miracles for them.

The second incident was about a super natural occurrence that my father ,himself saw in his youth.He was young then and had gone to Tiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) Kerala for some work.At that time, Trivandrum was a small town and the part he stayed in was a village with two rows of houses on the street .He was staying with some relatives.After dinner,they asked him to sleep inside the house.But my father did not want to disturb them.So he decided to sleep on the outer verandah "Muttam" which all village houses in Tamilnadu and Kerala have.

He was in deep sleep ,but was awakened suddenly at midnight and he saw that a saucer shaped thing of fire was coming from the adjacent open grounds and entering the house opposite.the saucer of fire circled the room several times and then went back towards the distant trees (Neem trees of course,since ghosts are fond of Neem trees.The saucer of fire came back again and the same thing went on again and again.My father was too frightened to utter a word and since he did not want to disturb the people inside,closed his eyes tightly and thinking of god remained silent. And at last he fell asleep again.

In the morning,he was told by his relatives that a girl had hanged herself in that house some years back.The house was always closed and the window open.

My father told us about this incident several times.He actually had the capacity to mesmerise his audience with the narration of stories or events in his life.

If god is there some evil powers must be there too.But if you have faith,no evil power can harm you.There are good people and bad people.Unless you feel the badness how will you know about goodness? The very bad negative vibrations are neutralised by positive vibrations.

And siddhas really do exist.And unless they are willing,no one can see them.
