HI U ALL SAIPAHI AGAIN IN SWELTERING HEAT OF CHENNAI. YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE EMITTING HEAT FROM YOUR BODY .THAT IS HOW HOT IT IS IN CHENNAI.IN KOLKATA IT WAS DIFFERENT .WE USED TO SWEAT A LOT BUT THAT IS MUCH BETTER.IN CHENNAI IT IS DRY HEAT.IT DRIES OUT YOUR BODY FLUIDS AND YOU FEEL SICK.VERY VERY SICK.  I WAS STAYING IN UTTAR PRADESH MIRZAPUR DISTRICT FOR SOME MONTHS.WORKING AS A DOCTOR IN THE COAL FIELDS.THAT WAS MUCH MORE HORRIBLE .IT WAS DRY HEAT OVER THERE ALSO.WE HAD SEPERATE BUNGLOWS GIVEN BY COAL INDIA.ALL SINGLE STORIED.AND THE SUMMER OVER THERE WAS MUCH MORE WORSE.YOU COULD NEVER STEP OUT IN THE AFTERNOON AND ALL THE STAFF BARRING THE ONES WORKING HAD A REGULAR AFTERNOON SIESTA.BUT WE DOCTORS HAD TO BE IN THE DISPENSARIES.SO WE WERE NOT AMONGST THE LUCKY LOT. THE NIGHTS WERE MUCH MORE WORSE.WE USED TO SPRAY WATER ON THE WALLS AND WET THE MOSQUITO CURTAINS AT NIGHT.BUT THE HEAT WAS RELENTLESS.
